Henry's Rabbit Ranch

"Dozens of abandoned Volkswagen Rabbits and actual live rabbits - the most delightfully weird Route 66 attraction."

📍 Staunton, IL🏛️ Since 1990✅ Still Operating🐇 Attraction

The Story

Rich Henry created this quirky roadside attraction in the 1990s as a tribute to Route 66's tradition of unusual stops meant to lure travelers off the highway.

The site features dozens of old VW Rabbits in various states of decay, rabbit hutches with live rabbits, Route 66 memorabilia, and a small gift shop. It's intentionally kitschy - a modern version of the 'see the world's largest ball of twine' attractions that once dotted Route 66.

Surprise Facts
