The Jubelt family started their bakery in 1922, four years before Route 66 was commissioned. When the highway came through Litchfield, Jubelt's became a favorite stop for travelers seeking homemade baked goods.
Now in its fourth generation, the bakery still makes everything from scratch using original recipes. The cream pies are legendary, and locals say the cinnamon rolls are worth a special trip.
