The Story

Savannah's oldest continuously operating restaurant. Al Capone visited during Prohibition trying to recruit speakeasy operator "Blocko" Manning. Manning opened legally the day Prohibition ended in 1933, serving 10-cent beers and 30-cent burgers. The original mahogany bar where bootleg hooch once flowed now serves craft beers. The famous crab stew recipe has been unchanged for decades.
