The Story

Luxury inn on Chippewa Square where the "Forrest Gump" bench scenes were filmed (the actual bench is now in the Savannah History Museum). Built in 1896 by Irish immigrant Honoria Foley. During renovation, a skeleton was allegedly found in the walls — the inn is now considered one of Savannah's most haunted.
