The story

Old Town family-deli icon opened 1960 by Leo Osher. Free pickles by the door, popcorn on every table, balloon artists for kids. Consumed 10 fifty-pound pickle barrels weekly. Proto family-casual dining in hippie-era Old Town. Sold late 1970s; building demolished.
