The story

The Winchester Drive-In opened on July 3, 1968, with a triple bill of Harry Frigg, P.J. and Sergeant Ryker. A commenter on Cinema Treasures notes that the 14 Flags Drive-In opened the same day. The Winchester has one screen and room for more than 400 cars.

The listing carries a trail of later notes. A 2010 commenter described the site as getting a little rusty. A June 2013 comment quoted a Facebook message saying the theater was closed until further notice after a tornado did extensive damage. By the time of the listing's current status it was marked as open and showing first-run movies. A November 2018 comment linked to a news story announcing the owner's death. It remains notable for showing triple features.

It was still listed as open and showing movies on Cinema Treasures at the time of checking.
