The story
Maurie and Flaurie Berman opened the original Superdawg drive-in at Milwaukee, Devon and Nagle in May 1948 with carhops and window trays; the family opened this Milwaukee Avenue branch in 2010. Every Superdawg still comes with crinkle-cut fries and a pickled green tomato. Maurie died in 2015 and Flaurie in 2018; the family still owns both.
