The Story
The museum first opened in June 2001 inside a renovated old church, restored with heavy volunteer help from the Jackpine Gypsies. In 2002 the City moved it into a more prominent building at Main Street and Junction Avenue — a structure that had been the town's post office for over 60 years. It collects and preserves motorcycling history, inducts riders into its Hall of Fame, and documents the rally that Pappy Hoel and the Jackpine Gypsies began a few blocks away in 1938.
