The story
Opened in 2000 and named for Harley-Davidson's iconic "Knucklehead" engine, The Knuckle grew from a single storefront into a full-block operation — bar, restaurant, live-entertainment stage, brewery, and retail. The saloon's own history ties its ground to Col. Samuel D. Sturgis, linking a modern rally institution back to the town's 1878 military-post origins.
