The story
A two-storey wooden log villa in the Tyrolean/Swiss spa idiom, clad in horizontal boards with projecting bays, verandas and galleried elevations, standing in the central spa district near the fountain and the church. From 1936 to 1938 it housed the Apostolic Administration of Lemkivshchyna, the Greek Catholic jurisdiction created in 1934 for the Lemko population of the Beskids. After the Second World War the Potocki family, evicted from their manor in Rymanów town, lived in the adjacent Villa Gołąbek. Modernised in 2018–2019 with its wooden character retained, Opatrzność now runs jointly with Gołąbek as a spa sanatorium of 48 beds, 26 of them here. Build year is genuinely disputed between sources (1881, 1882 and circa 1930 all appear) and is deliberately not asserted.
