The story
The Palatine Historical Society has run the Clayson House as its museum since the library purchased it in 1975. Listed on the National Register in 1979, the house is furnished to the 1890-1900 period and is the place to see the town's photographs, records and artifacts, including the plaque program that marks Palatine buildings over 100 years old.
