The story

G.C. Pete Ashlock opened the Orlando Sports Stadium in 1967. It hosted professional wrestling and boxing, and its events are documented in the Championship Wrestling from Florida archives. In 1981 it was sold to Edward Gossett, who wrestled as Eddie Graham, and it was renamed the Eddie Graham Sports Complex.

After Graham's death the venue passed to Mike Graham and later to Tony Andrews. It closed in 1993 when the Orange County Building Department shut it down because of code violations. It was demolished in November 1995.

A housing development called Econ River Estates.
